Turtle PJs to Turtle Robe

To go with the turtle tank and shorts PJs that I made, I made a robe:



Super easy... and its SUPER warm.

More than Mario

Chris often tells me that I love Mario more than him... so I made this for him. It only took about a half a day. Its a 5x7 framed with his favorite colors (blue and red) in an 8x10 frame.

PJ, Corsets, and... some others

First up is blue nightgown made from some broadcloth fabric I found at JoAnn's.

Sorry, I forgot to turn the picture 90 degrees.

Next up is a pair of fleece turtle print PJ top and shorts bottom:




A silk top that ties on the side of the neck in a big bow.

And a green corset. I've wanted a corset for the LONGEST time. Next time I'll use thicker bias tape and better grommets as these ones keeps nicking the ribbon.

A non-crafting post, but to those who check for regular updates (coming as soon as I return home to Arizona in a few days... I promise!) I just want to say happy holidays!

Stocking Sunday

So here's how I spent my Sunday (today). Making stockings. Six to be exact. One for me, one for the boyfriend Chris, one for our cat Mustang, one for our cat Mercedes, one for our guiena pig Artemis, one for our guiena pig Porthos. WHEW... I spent all day on this. However I spent very little money. I already had fusible fleece and used fabric scraps already in the apartment.

The lining of the stocking is made from the same fabric that is folded over the cuff of the stocking. All six in their christmasy glory:
